We were attending The Green Technology Expo ECOMONDO in Italy on 7 and 8 November 2023 as part of the International Buyer Delegation. <\/p>\n
It was most interesting to explore existing industry solutions and practical approaches towards sustainability and circularity. Much valuable information and many insights were collected. <\/p>\nThe expo, with close to 1.500 exhibitors, was vast and extensive, and covering:\n
– Themed areas: 1) Waste as a resource, 2) Water cycle & blue economy, 3) Bioenergy & agriculture, 4) Circular & regenerative bio-economy, 5) Site & soil restoration, 6) Environmental monitoring & control, 7) Ecological services vehicles.\u2028<\/p>\n
– Districts dedicated to sustainability and circularity of specific industrial value chains: 1) textile, 2) WEEE, 3) paper and 4) plastics.\u2028<\/p>\n
– Cross-sector project spaces: Innovation District and the Start-up Area.<\/p>\n
